Kristal and Jonny Boy is a Pop duo and a performance duo from Stockholm.

Dråpe - Sister's Eye
Future Sweden fika tunes:
If Dråpe was a dish, it would be one of my faves. (Slowdive + My Bloody Valentine) * influences + Nordic souls = Dråpe.
Lyttet - Distance
Great feature on Lyttet over at Shout4Music. I've been a fan of Lyttet when I met Claire back in CMJ 2013. I've been looking for a follow-up to that nostalgic dream pop sound after Memoryhouse and I got my fix right here. "Distance" is a new single that came out last week and it's the perfect song for those slow lonely winter mornings.
"LYTTET is a Danish/Norwegian/Swedish word. It’s the past participle of the verb ‘to listen’ in all three languages and it directly translates to the English word ‘listened’. It’s pronounced differently in each language and we thought it’d be interesting to see how people would pronounce it in English also! You can use the speech synthesis tool on google translate to hear the differences - we like the Danish pronunciation best."
Hunt - I Left

Amazing band from from Göteborg.
The Sun Days - You Can't Make Me Make Up My Mind
Not enough people are talking about The Sun Days so naturally it's Future Sweden's duty to do so. A quintent based in Gothenburg, their sound is like a love child of Makthaverskan and Veronica Falls and boy do they make their parents proud.

Saigon - Golden
I discovered Saigon when Vulkano was DJ-ing in Taverna Brillo. And just like that, Saigon became my summer soundtrack for 2013. They finally came out with a new single, Golden, as a teaser to their album coming out early next year.
The Hanged Man - First Quarter Moon
I wasn't prepared for what's to come when I first listened to the First Quarter Moon EP. I figured I wasn't into this dark, brooding sound since most bands under this genre didn't really stick to me with the exception of Daughter and The Xx. When I started playing Rebecka Rolfart’s debut solo album though, I get it, I just haven't found enough music in this genre that I was really into. The whole album is refreshingly original and personal. I've been following Rebecka since her days with Those Dancing Days and Vulkano, both equally amazing on their own, and her solo project just shows the strength of the music community in Stockholm.
